Gilda’s Club of Metro Detroit (GCMD) provides social and emotional support for men, women, teens, and children living with cancer. Gilda’s Club’s mission is to “ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by our community”. SMSF approved $20,000 to support educational lectures to provide enhanced health literacy, both in person and virtually.
