The Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network established in 1998, was created to ensure that no Jew is ever alone when facing chronic, serious, or terminal illness. JHCN partners with hospices, hospitals, and health care agencies to ensure that patients and their loved ones receive the best care possible wherever they choose services or treatment. SMSF approved $20,000 to elevate the awareness of care partners of the agency as a resource to terminally ill individuals living in Southeast Michigan, and to improve access to their families’ end-of-life care services.
